>>37507672Yeah. Not really sure how to effectively do that, though. Drawing real life stuff is utterly dull (I doubt I have the attention span to study and draw my bedside radio), and the pen doodles I make at work are by necessity sloppy.
I can tell where I've made mistakes, of course - I'm not blind - but I can only fix them so much before I have to give up.
I like to think I do better in pencil, like so, at least. Easier to erase light marks before darkening the lines, and I can actually USE construction shapes rather than going almost immediately to the final outlines like pen forces me to.
As I've said, I really see it as a hobby, if even that, so I find it damn near impossible to slog through those suggested "draw a cube at different angles in abstract space, now do it sixty more goddamn times" exercises.
Found an old middle school sketchbook from art class the other day. I've improved since then, but that's hardly a compliment.
