I've seen legitimate streams online of players who go out daily and get a shiny roughly three or four times a month as they catch so often specifically at nests.
Shiny chances are a mixture of RNG and it's incredibly fucking easy to get them if you find a nest or have a fuckton of spawns.
100IV Ralts is not difficult, they hatch from eggs, weather boost decreases chances to 1 in 1000 instead of 1 in 4000. Already have a 93% and I've only seen 7 caught 7...
Shiny chances are also increased during events and new releases.
