Increased sp. atk lets it utilize its more powerful special moves, but its attack is still high enough to go mixed. Slack off gives it recovery so it's not missing leftovers too badly.
Mold breaker allows it to go around defensive abilities that would cause it problems, most importantly sturdy, levitate, water absorb, dry skin, and storm drain, but also multiscale, fur coat, magic bounce, solid rock, soundproof, and various others.
