That kind of balance is why I'm not a fan of gimmicky power-ups that affect all Pokémon and prefer Mega Evolution, although I do like Terastal over Z-Moves and Dynamax. I'm also not a fan of how they handled STAB for Terastal; if you're going to change your type, fully commit to your new type. It just encourages hyper offense like certain other adjustments that were also done in SV.
