>>45488956>>45488649>Goh didn't start taking battling more seriously. He just stoppd battling unless he HAS toFuck off. He clearly has been taking it more seriously, Scorbunny's evolution into Raboot, and it's evolution into Cinderace, signify that. If hadn't taken it more seriously, Scorbunny probably would've left him a long time ago. He wouldn't have come CLOSE to beating Zapdos if he wasn't taking battling more seriously. And this doesn't address the fact that he's grown is own strategies indicative of Ash's own, which you seem to be ignoring. He's grown as a trianer deal with it
>He didn't piss off Scorbunny,That was the premise of an entire episode. He basically told it "lol why bother getting stronger, we're not battlers anyways!" That pissed it off so it ran away to train ember, and Go realized this and decided to both take his battling with Raboot more seriously and took greater strides to understand how its been feeling.
>He's been shown watching Ash practice on his own more than actually training with him or on his own.So you're basically saying that him observing Ash doesn't count. Even though that's entirely within his analytical, socially awkward character? Hell, he probably absorbed more doing that than he did actually battling Ash's Pokemon.
>Since he's not doing anything on his own to apply anything he's seen from Ashwatch the show
>putting up a fight with Eternatus and Mewtwo without getting one-shotted like he shouldOh fuck off. The dogs did 100% of the work vs. Eternatus, and he, again, did jack shit to Mewtwo. His Pokemon being able to tank some hits is NOT indicative of him being a trainer on par with Ash.
His progress has been shown via his relationships with Ash and Scorbunny/Raboot/Cinderace, and his steady growth in feats over the course of the show. He's barely come close to eclipsing actual trainers, which is what the entire Kiawe bit was supposed to show. You're unironically overrating Go more than the show is you autist.
