ya know, what SM and Hoenn did was fine, even gen 5. at least with SM the pokemon could still be used, BW made ya wait, and FRLG/E made ya go a step further.
but back when some of these were complained about issues no one ever said "heh, you can make poffins and do contests/ inverse battles exists anon. it is adding immersion and replayability so you dont need those mons at all". in fact, most of the fanbase still wanted all their mons back or in and the number of people who wanted a culling like now didn't exist.
so TL;DR, what I am saying is you are a troll and your position doesn't exist as it does not match the actual point of the game no matter how much you seethe at this point being made. and anyone who is arguing for culling is not catching them all
