You guys are fawning over a horribly designed and written 10 year old non-character supported by a bunch of anime tropes done at the bare minimum because "wow so epic and badass!", rationale that you guys love to rag on in every other situation for being childish.
I get secondhand embarrassment from watching you guys try to pass Ash off as "cool". It doesn't matter how many watered-down shounen elements they tried to force into the series. Just doesn't work with a protagonist as kiddy as Ash.
