As far as I'm aware Deerling or Sawsbucks form will change depending on the seasons IF they are in your party. If you capture them and put them in the box they won't.
I traded for a deerling over gts that was in spring form and he never changed out of it. Levelled him up until evolve and he is still in spring form despite it being October. Decided to test it out. Changed the date to November, still spring form. Battled with him. Closed the game. Went through route changers. Entered buildings. I'm not sure what causes him to change, if he will change after trade, or what.
Him being in my party is sort of dependent on him changing forms.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
