But his face without the hat shadow and his actual personality isn’t like that all. He’s actually a “faux affably evil” type so he’s polite and gentlemanly when he’s not being completely psycho. “Good Dio” in JJBA is supposed to be Giorno Giovanna, but that would make it too similar to Vos. Maybe drawing from that loud, hammy and arrogant side of Dio, and giving it to a heroic character would be for Vos’s opposite? Plus I think being very empathetic but not appearing it on the surface would also make for a good contrast.
