>>18737401That's probably true, and Dark types are also getting more use because of Knock Off, but that has nothing to do with Fairy type specifically. Fairy type was just horribly thought out and doesn't need to exist. It's an overpowered defensive and offensive type that only is balanced out by the fact that almost all of the pokemon who are fairy type are completely awful stat-wise, and that won't stay that way forever.
