gen 8 introduces gigantamax mons. the same criticism i made for megas and regional variants applies to gigantamax as well but there is one particular design that looks bad even compared to other gigantamax mons. gmax kingler is supposed to have a beard made out of bubbles, but the art lacks good details so the beard ends up looking like a normal beard made out of hair than something that is made out of bubbles. why couldn't they have just added something like transparency or reflections, something that would actually imply the beard is made out of bubbles and not hair? also, the beard looks fucking stupid. why do the bubbles form this very specific shape? it doesn't look natural. adding facial hair is another problem that is common in these rehash designs
