Wild Area: Safari Zone on steroids
QoL improvements: Brilliant Aura = +2 IV and egg move. Stamps allow for quick browsing if people are trading, raiding, etc.
Den farming = lots of candies and money so getting pokemon to max level, giving them EV's through vitamins, and above all teaching them moves makes getting training more than a handful of pokemon per generation possible especially if you want their shiny version. Already setting up my 2nd team because of it.
Also like the weather effects in the wild area. Might mean nothing to a lot of people but I really made me nostalgia hard due to gen 2-3 only having it in certain areas.
Gigantamax: Like Grimmsnarl and Machamps design. Also like that some characters get their own design as well like Alcremie and Orbettle.
Cons
Still no graphical improvements in the animation
Somethings gets cut or replaced for another feature. Mega and Z crystal replaced with Dynamax/G-Max
Still no hard mode or NG+ with more features
They can't do full monotype gyms and there is still no dual type gyms.
The throw style was removed when some of these gym leaders had amazing throw styles.
The customization still doesn't cater to me wanting to just make my character appear like on of the previous NPCs.
Favorite all time pokemon might not make it in. For me it's Murkrow and I don't like it's evolution.
