ITT: The most atmospheric and/or exciting music from the Pokemon games. I'll start:
>Pokemon R/S/E: Abandoned Ship theme:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFU8mrXb9LYI wish there was a version of this that was extended and with better quality. Hoenn had a lot of music with a sort of mystical, almost-creepy-but-in-a-good-way music, and I think that's a standout.
>Pokemon B2/W2 Champion Iris Battle themehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb9ee9lWSbgAs opposed to Hoenn music, the later gens, particularly gen 5, had a lot of upbeat music. This was the first champion theme that actually sounded fun and not intimidating or "epic".
>Pokemon R/B/Y/FR/LG: Champion Battle themehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhfJO366AM4There's not a lot of gen 1 music that I like, but this one is my all-time favorite when it comes to Pokemon songs. It's a perfect, fast-paced mix of exciting and intimidating. It really makes me feel like "This is it. This is what it all comes down to."
