I love my brother, for example, and that is why I tell him how precisely he's fucked up his life when he does. Because I want him to realize his issues and stop doing it.
Same for Pokémon. If I didn't love it I would leave.
And don't even bother trying to gatekeep me. As someone with over 7 years of playtime in the series I'm one of the few if not the only one with the credentials to be the gatekeeper.
