Instead of the Lapras from Silph Co, some npc should tell you they came from the Sevii islands to bring you your Lapras.
Someone should fill in for Lorelei. Maybe one from a different region, or a Frontier Brain.
On that note, maybe a few gyms could also have different leaders, just for fun.
