while they still suffer from sugi's awful design choices, they aren't as bad. for instance, lucario doesnt wear stupid shorts anymore, has a proper tail, and looks sort of mystical like it's fucking supposed to. they also added more spikes so that the ones that are there don't look random, but not so many that it's excessive. overall it's a massive improvement.
mega blaziken still has those stupid pants, but the color scheme makes them look better, and they turned his stupid hair wings into cool wings. the fire ribbons are an improvement too. overall it looks much better.
infernape doesn't need a mega as badly because he already looks great.
