Compare this to literally any other remake and you see how disappointing BDSP are. I know Legends Arceus was in production along side SV, so GF themselves couldn't do it probably due to time constraints (either from big N or some shareholders, who knows), but it's fucking BAFFLING that ILCA remade the inferior versions instead of Platinum.
I actually have a conspiracy theory that GF will remake ALL versions in the future and only give the inferior ones to ILCA so they can make a "true" remake of the updated versions, in turn, making more of a profit. Kinda based from a business standpoint desu.
