BDSP. Not only copypasted DP without Platinum's features but also removed what DP cherished the most. Incorporating Affection into Happiness also destroyed the whole reason to play the game.

no matter how lackluster BDSP or SWSH is, the performance and all of those glitches makes SV the worst game in Pokemon History

I 100% understand why everyone shits on SwSh, but at least SwSh gave us a solid bare minimum for the Switch that didn't look like complete ass and had SOMEWHAT interesting lore and Pokemon designs.

Scat/Vomit is such a downgrade I legit want a documentary of what the hell was going on at Gamefreak during it's production. The absolute disaster at launch far outweighs SwSh biggest sins and that's not even getting into the myriad of glitches still present in the game far too many months after release. I genuinely don't get how anons say SwSh is worse. A simple fucking glace should tell you everything OP.

If you turn off the exp share it's more like DP, you're overleveled for most of the game but then there's a drastic jump right at the end. I think Diantha is like 20 levels above the last gym leader

SV. I actually revisited SwSh recently and while its still predictable hot garbage with an undercooked story I can appreciate the attempt being made with some of its locations outside of the rancid ugly as sin wild area. It also helps that it doesn't run like spoiled milk compared to SV.

SV is still infinitely more fun to play than SwSh even when it's shitting itself entirely due to the fact that you won't fall asleep while playing it. SV can blame all of its problems on being open world on a linear game's development schedule, SwSh has 0 excuse to be as lackluster as it is.

BDSP is a nothing burger in, like, the worst way possible. It's an outsourced remake that only upgraded the graphics and fixeds some bugs and nothing else.

Compare this to literally any other remake and you see how disappointing BDSP are. I know Legends Arceus was in production along side SV, so GF themselves couldn't do it probably due to time constraints (either from big N or some shareholders, who knows), but it's fucking BAFFLING that ILCA remade the inferior versions instead of Platinum.
I actually have a conspiracy theory that GF will remake ALL versions in the future and only give the inferior ones to ILCA so they can make a "true" remake of the updated versions, in turn, making more of a profit. Kinda based from a business standpoint desu.

SV is bugged, but not as dangerously bugged as BDSP.
BDSP pasted the same bugs from the DS source code aswell as created new ones. Most of these softlock the game while some even corrupt the savefile such as the return of the bad egg glitch, aswell as glitches that hide or delete your key items.

Fun fact: The guy leader theme is literally bugged in online play. Instead of switching from different phases like in Sword and Shield it plays the whole song no matter what. Meaning it'll awkwardly transition from mid-song to the final part if the battle last long enough.

Honestly, Gen 8 graphically is better. Gen 9 looks all washed out plus all of the glitches. Gamefreak really has to buckle down on loading in overworlds in the future games because seeing NPC's walking at 2 FPS really triggers my OCD.

Yeah I guess. SwSh's bogstandard-ness really sets it back, but you can't deny that from a technical, content, and even gameplay standpoint SV is clearly lacking more. Hell, just look at the amount of people still talking about the game nowadays. SwSh may have had that shitty postgame story and a Battle Tower but SV having nothing really killed it faster than any Pokemon game...

I still hope the DLC is good, cause I'm with ya on the game being more interesting, it's just a matter of IF GF will have follow through on their ideas or throwing them out for the next big gimmick next gen.
