I'm still genuinely excited to have something like a canon age for him, but man. It does feel weird.
The same thing happened only a few weeks ago while I was picking up an old anime I really enjoyed watching around middle school. Age of main character randomly drops in some episode - 23 - "oh god, what". Feels weird surpassing adult characters in age who you've known since being a little kiddo
