Serebii fucken lied to me! I thought Grant would lead with Tyrunt, which I had game-planned around. Seeing Amaura at the start kinda sent my brain into panic mode. I tried to get a Sand Tomb off Medulla because I figured I could survive an Aurora Beam. Calcs tell me I was correct!
Amaura used Take Down. Joe Merrick is a hack!
In all honesty though, I should've just switched to Hamm immediately and put the thing to sleep. I could've just reversed my strategy from there. I'm sorry, Medulla.
Other than that slip up, only two other near-catastrophes since the blood bath in Route 6. Sapporo nearly killed Pabst with a Pursuit while I was switching away (2 HP left from full health), and some monster immediately after that had an Axew sporting Dragon Rage. Leech Seed and the Protect TM (Which nearly the whole team has) is the only reason I survived that unscathed.
>>53701484I should've read the context clues and assumed every trainer I encountered was a Dragon Rage Axew battle, considering we're nearly in the same spot in our runs. Now I'm both curious and terrified to know what "THAT battle" is.
>>53702622I just caught an Eevee as well, so here we go again.
>>53702658I'm hoping he makes it that far. Going blind (other than scoping out Gym Leader teams) has been pretty rough.
>>53702812I definitely feel like the variety so far has been crazy, especially compared to the gens right before 6. Also, that gap between badge 1 and 2 was pretty annoying. I was surprised at first that the beginning wasn't an A button mashfest, but I guess they decided to wait until the Palace area to drop that in.
>>53702845I do know of Eternal X and Wilting Y, which are pretty similar to Drayano's hacks. But sometimes those feel like a little too much difficulty.
