The Veilstone Voice has received an anonymous 15 minute long video claiming to contain the last moments of Sinnoh's champion Cynthia, and her desperate struggle against a Seviper. The footage ends with the Champion swallowed by the Pokemon and a blurred out unknown figure believed to be the Seviper's trainer stroking and comforting the Pokemon, before shutting the recording off. While the Voice cannot independently determine the veracity of the video, and refuses to show the footage in its entirety, there are reports that the video was briefly leaked online on parts of the deep web before being removed by Sinnohan authorities.
Galactic BBS: Gym leader Maylene has commented that she does believe the person in question to be the missing champion, questioning the lack of battle preparedness, to the clothing choice. Maylene also offhandedly made crude remarks that Cynthia was a B-cup, and could not possibly have been the person involved, suggesting that it was merely a cosplayer.
