>>49833629Finally someone who gets it. The extra difficulty isn't supposed to encourage you to grind, it's supposed to encourage you to use strategy to overcome raw stat differences. Rather than grinding, you could try:
>Set up moves like Swords Dance or Dragon Dance>Setting a weather and then switching to a Chlorophyll/Swift Swim/Slush Rush/Sand Rush user>Using status like Burn, Toxic, or Paralysis to stall out a threat or to lower its stats enough that you can survive>Use a bulky Pokemon with Rough Skin or Iron Barbs or Rocky Helmet to log chip damage on the opponent if they have contact moves>Use a Pokemon with pressure + recovery to stall out the PP of powerful moves like Fire Blast in a couple of turns>Get a Sticky Web user to set up webs on turn 1 so you can outspeed >Set up screens>Leech Seed + Protect + Substitute>Spore/Sleep Power/Hypnosis>Use Trick Room so your slower powerhouse Pokemon can blow a hole through their overleveled, faster opponentInstead of learning how to play, retards just grinded and Game Freak acquiesced to their demands on making the games easier. Don't want those children and manchildren to run off and play FGO or Genshin because they never figured out how to use non-attacking moves, right?
