>>37523663>tfw no AR photo catching a carnivine with my carnivinesThey're very fun plants to grow, I recommend it. I sort of decided to grow them on a whim and it's been a real learning experience.. but now I have real carnivines to stare at.
>>37523873Were you using nutrient heavy soil? I use a mix of 4:1 peat moss and perlite and apply a tiny bit of fertilizer once in a while directly on the leaves to keep the soil fertilizer-free. Also make sure you're using mineral-free/distilled water so you're not adding unwanted nutrients to the mix. They're really good little guys once you get the hang of it, feel free to hmu if you run into issues down the line.
Also don't forget to let your carnivines sleep during the winter, this lets them grow back bigger and stronger next spring.
