XY already has drastically better pokemon distribution than Platinum by putting 5+ different Pokemon on every route and not pointlessly locking things to postgame gimmicks like swarms/radar/dual slot.

The story is virtually unchanged from DP, except for the climax, where you just do a strength puzzle for 5 minutes. You barely learn anything more about Giratina that wasn't already in DP. Cyrus is slightly better because he doesn't ruin his own plan like a retard like he did in DP, but he's still incredibly shallow and poorly developed. Characters like Looker and Charon are added but they do virtually nothing in the story.
>trainer NPC changes
Still incredibly easy and can be swept by mashing STABs with one Pokemon. E4 actually has even lower levels than DP.
>postgame facilities
XY already has multiple postgame facilities/modes, that are more convenient to play thanks to super mode and the changed breeding and EV training mechanics, ON TOP of online PvP also existing which didn't exist in gen 4.
In conclusion, Z version isn't necessary. XY is already better than DPPt even without having an upper version. The only people begging for a Z version are just mindless consoomers who praise games just because they were resold to them again.
