I know Delia mostly lucked out because Ash was the main character for nearly 30 years, so she got the privilege of showing up in nearly every show, if only for a reminder to the audience that Ash had a mom. Just wish the others who had gotten to show up in the anime could have blown up too, since I get that the ones stuck to the games would only get attention if they had a notable enough design for fans to latch onto.
