Gen 2 is Gen 1 but better.
Gen 3 is was pretty weak despite the nostalgia. As far as game balance goes, I believe this gen and gen 4 was the best.
Gen 4 is fucking awesome. The system wasn't though and was overall clunky to play
Gen 5 is also fucking awesome.
Gen 6 played promising at first with what appeared to be vast gameplay improvements. It ultimately ended up being the most
soulless gen.
Gen 7 brought back
some soul and was overall enjoyable
Gen 8 had immense potential, was all wasted into developing pointless, uninspired dynamax gimmick. Game played fine though, just a shame the first console Pokemon game is worse than prior generations.
t. played through every single Pokemon game and enjoyed each one to the fullest
