>you're recruiting pokemon in Joyous Tower>you're about level 13 or so at floor 25 or so>you find a Skitty>think it'll be easy to recruit>Skitty is at level TWENTY-TWO on a floor with pokemon half its level>level has a pretty sizeable effect on damage dealt>Skitty can 1shot you with doubleslap, and 1shot you instantly again in the same turn>attacking skitty means Cute Charm can activate>it can use sing>you can't outlevel skittyKecleon and Mewtwo pale in comparison because you prepare for those. As a starter, Skitty has a chance to just straight up immobilize the enemy for upwards of 5 turns due to cute charm. It gets Doubleslap which is brokenly good, and sing. Simply put, the enemy doesn't stand a chance.
