>>40571297Nah, I feel you. I really don’t know what they’re going for with this advertising campaign.
Why is the wild area is being so heavily advertised when it looks like it was made in an afternoon? Seriously, it seems to have either had an insanely troubled development or it was just cobbled together late into development to reel in people begging for an open world.
Why is there so little info on the games that need info the most? It’s fucking baffling that they decided to make this choice when you’d think that they’d try and entice people to give the games a chance despite its clear issues.
What’s with the obscene amount of Kanto pandering? The last SEVEN reveals for alternate forms for Pokémon from another region instead of, y’know, the new fucking Pokémon.
People are worried about how this game is going to turn out, and to be frank, with what we’ve been given so far they have a damn good reason to feel that way. They seem to have so little confidence in the new designs, so much so that with what little info we have gotten lately, its heavily leaned on reusing Kanto designs which in some cases have already been recycled before. It’s not a good look for them, and it doesn’t help this game’s already controversial image.
