What I do is consider it one of the options at hand, a mere possibility. The one which is the least likely and which makes the least sense of all (which nobody even tries to argue with). If that one is confirmed and explained properly in the future, I'll accept it, because I'm not immune to nuance as you are. But for now the idea is so ridiculous and implausible that I'm not buying it over the others.
And it's not just me, it seems like most of the planet either rejects, doesn't know or doesn't care about your air-tight cradles. It really does appear like for the vast majority of the worldwide fanbase, Pokémon lay eggs.
