>>38220765It does seem that BW had the most scattered adaption of any series, even if the likes of XY and SM have had a ton of filler before and after their respective game plots. And with the absence of Hilda/White, it just all ended up feeling very strange with what they went with. Would have been so much cooler if Hilda had been Ash's main tagalong girl, Bianca could have been the second or just more frequent in her comings and goings like what we actually got, and Cheren of course could have been the rival as he was in the games all while the original plot played out with N and Plasma's shenanigans.
