It was a toss up between this, and gen 6's bat. Which despite that fact it pisses me off, it's at least slightly better designed then Swoobat.
Swoobat is ugly as fuck, we didn't need more bat pokemon when we already had zubat and it's brobat line, which looked perfectly fine.
It just tried too hard and turned out fairly ugly. The fact they wasted new pokemon slots on an ugly bat is beyond me. Noivern at least looks somewhat decent, but Swoobat has no reason to exist.
