>>40408432I never understood all the bitching about the graphics. As long as it's a step up from the previous game it's an improvement. Comparing it to other games didn't make sense anyways since Pokemon has sort of always been a little low on graphics quality compared to other series. I remember people whining about the game still being top down pixels and sprites even back during Black and White, when Black and White was still a pretty big jump in quality from Gen 4.
Of course it's fine to expect more/better from things you love, but setting expectations too high also usually just leads to immense disappointment. With everything, not just games. You can't put shit on an pedestal and end up happy with it.
