>>35786374It doesn't need to be a open world game. As in allowing you to collect badges in any order you want. But the overworld does need to be realistic at this point instead of the grid system. Which they did somewhat with SM/USUM. But then they went back to it in LGPE. Makes me think they're going to go back to it in the DP remakes too. I think the Gen 8 games will have a realistic overworld and pokemon in the overworld too so it will be everything I want. I also hope one day they can make the battles be in the overworld too instead of switching to an alternate world when the battle starts.
