Hey guys, did you know that originally there were planned 190 pokemon for Pokemon Red/Blue? (

Well, I just found an interesting coincidence. Did you know that if you play Pokemon Gold/Silver battling ALL Pokemon Trainers (including rematches) and avoiding any wild Pokemon, your Pokedex would end up with 190 Pokemon seen, excluding Johto starters?
Could it be that since Pokemon Gold/Silver were supposed to be the last games of the series, Gamefreak included the list of the original 190 Pokemon for players to find?
