the region of kalos is actually nice outside of some weak level design there and there but the characters are mostly shit/forgettable and the game design is too weak
the distribution is crazy tho
the alola region is too streamlined and the pacing of cutscenes is kinda fucked, that can upset some people i guess...(like /vp/ in general)
but it try new things...well not in the best way we could imagine but it gets kinda better, actual pokemon bosses are an exciting concept, and it has actual characters that seems to be the most memorable to date imo
but clearly gen 7 seems to be better, it has more going for it, unless you're really obsessed with level design and really hate cutscenes
i couldn't care less about shit like features and postgame tho, i only care about the maingame
