>>35040321This is just plain wrong, Boufolant is supposed to be a parallel of Tauros, like how Sawk and Throh are supposed to be the Hitmons, Dwebble is supposed to be Paras, etc. because Unova was intended to be a soft reboot and previous mons weren't available so those were made to fill the role. Emolga is just Unova's pikaclone, it was never intended to be an evolution of Pachirisu because pikaclones don't evolve. Alomomola might have been an evo of Luvdisc originally but they were probably decided to be separate after it was decided that Gen 5 would be it's own thing.
