It'll be alright, if it comes to it, separating yourself from someone else can be hard at first, but you learn to find yourself again through just doing you over time. Pick up a new hobby or focus on perfecting something you do already and heal what you feel was ripped out of you. If you manage to stay together it might not be a bad idea to do so anyway, improvement through your "self" tends to wind into improvement with other people in general I think.
