>>36495800>Violence and fear is ingrained in all living beings. If their life is threatened, by starvation, invasion of territory or an attacker, they will be pushed to react by either fleeing, or retaliating. It takes strength of character to resist that instinct- No matter the ideals or culture, a world where life isn't 100% self-sustained will always have those looking for the shortest path to assure their own survival and peace of mind. It's what survival means.Sure, but we can at least do what we can to try and make things more civilized for everyone. Once again I do not deny the inherent natures which we have come from.
But that does not mean we have to stay there. We can, with time overcome our barbaric behaviors, and instill within all, a safer and more productive set of parameters from which our society can run.
>they've always gone on to say the wilds you face are envious of the trained, and are actively looking to find trainers, and those who don't want to be caught stay awayEven the Pokemon in the wild envy the better lifestyle. Again, nature is cruel, but that doesn't mean we also have to be cruel.
>A game where Pokémon stop wanting to battle stops having its admittedly foggy moral groundAnd here we come upon the main issue. You meet Pokemon by beating them into submission and capturing them. Barbaric, but perhaps better than leaving it to fend for itself in the wild.
I would propose an area where you can leave food for wild Pokemon. Slowly winning them over until they want to join you of their own free will. That is my dream of a more Utopian Pokemon.
>You're better off hoping for a spin-off focused on other aspects of Pokémon, like as has been mentioned often.I hope this happens.
>>36495844>I don't want to harm people eitherThats good. There isn't a need to fight, and hurt one another. We can be friends.
>I choose on my ownThis is true, because I'm not using violence to subjugate you and bend you to my will.
