Blaziken got a Mega long before Sceptile and Swampert did.
Charizard got two megas while Venusaur and Blastoise only got one.
Dragonite is the only pre-Gen-5 pseudo that doesn't have a mega.
Audino is the only Gen 5 Mega.
Diancie, a legendary, is the only Gen 6 mega.
Beedrill got a Mega while Butterfree didn't.
It's not out of the question, but they're sure as fuck never giving any special attention to Pikaclones unless Pikachu (and to a lesser extent Raichu) gets it first.
