>>39078264>>39080814No need to go for the manchildren insult, but the second anon here is right.
The mass audience only has a passing care over this issue. They'll either forget or forgive it after a couple big batches of new info, the first of which is coming the 29th.
The Gamestop pre-order stuff doesn't mean as much considering they're doing meh to terrible on Amazon pre-order, but there's a lot more game releases than pre-orders.
The biggest thing I want to add is
>not happening with a higher price pointThere's not really anything showing this. Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee had a higher price point (along with various more expensive bundles) and way less content yet it still sold over 10 million.
General audience doesn't care about the increased price when it comes to getting a full 3D pokemon game on their Switch. And with the inevitable marketing and hype over what a "new experience" S/S will have, it'll certainly hit the same average as the past games and likely will surpass DP's numbers.
I really doubt it'll hit anywhere near GS levels, but it'll certainly at least do average.
