Any human suspecting it isn't real I'd mentally manipulate to think about something else so I'd never be discovered. Any human strong enough to overcome my mental manipulations I'd know immediately as I'd be there as the pokemon as well and I'd simply disappear them
by cursing them to become pokemon for a 1000 years if they offended me by trying to reveal my secret. I'd get the best of both worlds... as much as telepathy and lack of thumbs allows
