Let's look at one of the previously known victims subject to this unfortunate situation, Ludicolo. The point in question, specifically the "hat" which is actually a lily pad, was loosely interpreted by some as South American apparel, was enough for a certain group to voice complaints about the connection. In a similar event that did result in action, part of Jynx's coloring was removed. Had Ludicolo's lily been removed, we would not have Ludicolo, or any of it's pre evolutions, anything with a lily pad, or anything in the future that would've had one.
