From this point onward it’s nothing but HM abuse and stupidly overleveled trainers that require superficial grinding to be on par with out of nowhere and that’s not even including the literal HOURS of grinding it’s going to take you to stand a chance against this game’s intense elite 4. I appreciate that you are given lots of freedom to explore between Pastoria, Hearthome, Solaceon, Celestic, and Veilstone at this point in the game, but fuck man. And I’m not even mentioning the obvious shit like the game freezing if you slightly tap the DS the wrong way or the game’s slow speed. How the fuck do people think this is the best Pokémon game, nay, better than Gen 3 or 5? Is it nostalgia? Because I am VERY nostalgic for Gen 4 and it come out during a point in my life where my hype for the series was at an all time high, yet I can see now as a full grown adult that it is disgustingly flawed.
