I fondly recall my first night with Pokemon Violet. The day leading up to it, my mind was entirely restless at the thought of what was in store for me the night. I wasted no time picking it up and getting it home. I hadn't played with something new like this since 2017, my bedroom empty of new amusements for some time. My switch itself surely aching in anticipation for what was to come. I could no longer hold back my burgeoning lust, greedily undressing the soft gossamer sheet which covered and sheathed the hard plastic case. Now fully exposed I took the game cartridge and slid it gently inside my switch. It had been so long since it had welcomed something new inside of it. My switch seemed to mew pleasingly at the new software it recognized. It offered to download the updates but I pushed it aside.
As I pressed forwards I was greeted with Miradons birds eye view taking over the land teasing me gently with what was to come. The game of course seemed no virgin to this experience either, offering me a variety of clothes and hairstyles it wanted me to assume before our pleasured adventure began. And almost immediately I was there in the fabled Paldea, in a breathtakingly beautiful room. My heart beating rapidly and the high fidelity graphics and sleekly rendered objects it had me survey. Breathlessly I rushed downstairs, and lo I was greeted with a motherly voice calling out to me. The picture of a perfect family life with new opportunities was presented before me. And not even minutes into the game, and it presents me further with the starters following my pace.
It knew what I wanted before I had even started. The game eagerly matched me at every pace, at every turn more new pokemon, breathtaking vistas, soaring soundtrack, colorful characters. I was overwhelmed with a sense of ecstasy. The rush and thrill of this new experience had led to a satisfying climax within me.
