I can't believe we live in a timeline where we have to look at Lets Go favourably for anything.

I already thought the Lets Go games were a pretty poor product, and I think all I need to say to justify that opinion is "2018 Switch Kanto remakes with less content than the 2004 GBA Kanto remakes." Was damn near certain Sword and Shield at BARE MINIMUM would be a straight upgrade from those games in every aspect. And yet here we are. The Lets Go games had properly scaled Pokemon in battle, Shiny Pokemon appearing in the overworld and battle backgrounds for indoors 24/7. SS don't have the former 2 and only had a couple battle backgrounds for indoors (Those being for Gym leaders), most indoor battles simply return to the coloured voids that the 3DS games had.
