I have a proposal about moveset customization within the games: any pokemon can learn any possible move they can with ease now, including breeding and tutors.
>tutors
>slightly earlier access, easier ways to pay them or no cost at all
>breeding
Two ideas. This is to make it easier to access more techniques without the time or effort of breeding, as well as without having to sacrifice a current mon for an egg hatched version of it (your current "bro" if you will, vs. a better version of them). However, egg hatching will not be obsolete or anything.
Pokemon can now "learn" egg moves by seeing or interacting with a pokemon that knows the move. I'll leave up the how to you guys. It can be done in battle like Sketch (or after the battle), in the team menu, a bottom screen minigame, etc. It can even be queued into the move tutor list, like how some moves can only be learnt when you go back to the move tutor after evolving.
To keep breeding relevant, there are two possible options (or both).
>Pokemon that learn egg moves the current way are given a buff. The base power, accuracy, PP, or some other aspect of a move learned through breeding are slightly increased. Perhaps a 5 or 10 base power increase, same with accuracy. So using a PP Max on an egg move from hatching will give it a higher PP count than a normally learned move given a PP Max.
>Pokemon can only acquire egg moves manually after a certain level, similar to a required intelligence. If a pokemon can only learn egg moves after 50 or so, it makes hatching that much more of a better option.
