He's really strong in the sun. It's disgusting. Still, that flash fire is kind of necessary on your team. You need something to take those sun boosted flare blitzes that are now pretty common.

I was really scared of pulling that turn 1 flare blitz and you switching in rapidash, but I figured you'd be afraid of rock slide/earthquake.

I use it to my advantage really, Venusaur is extremely fast in the sun so it can deal a ton of damage quickly and as you did with Sun boosted Blitz. If I get rekd by a fire type oh well, heh

Oh, sure. It's just a side effect of the sun that sometimes you have to eat a boosted flare blitz from charizard/whatever. Having flash fire can help you put the fear of god into peoples hearts, just because they know you could switch rapidash in at any time. The only thing I don't agree about your team is scizor. You should get a steel type that actually resists rock.

You'd say the 'gout du fromage' (the taste of cheese) because 'gout' is a property relating to the cheese but when you're connecting adjectives (ie: cheese is an adjective in this case) du means something totally different and you'd use 'de'.

I'm not sure why it isn't 'omlette DE fromage' though. Probably just convention?

If you breed with a female that doesn't have HA, but the male does, the HA won't pass down. Definitely go for a 6iv HA female if you can (but thats pretty hard, if you get a 5iv female first switch to that and aim for the top)

They changed that in gen 6 actually.
Breeding a female with HA is a 60% chance of it passing down.
Breeding with a male with HA is only 20% chance

Still you want to use a HA female

That's assuming you're breeding the male with Ditto.
Which you shouldn't do.
Non-HA female will only generate non-HA offsrping.

Hexa males also provide you to breed faster other pokemons on the same group, regardless of being special or physical attackers

SPecial Attack has no relation to Speed whatsoever.
You usually don't need physical and special attack on the same mon, unless you plan to go mixed.

With the change to fixed HP Power, that's not true.
It only requires a specific penta spread with the sixth being even or uneven.
31/xx/31/30/31/30 will always end up as HP Fire if xx is even and I think Water(?) if uneven.

Now, assuming you pokemon is special only, you want to set the atk IV to zero.
So, lets say, 31/0/31/30/31/30 will result in fire as 0 is "even" for the game, if you want a perfect water you'll want 31/1/31/30/31/30 or a different spread that allows you 0 atk

ofcourse you can always just ignore the 0atk thing for special attackers

Getting low attack to reduce confusion damage is pretty situational though.
