>>51776539>So the>So likeCan you at least pretend you're not strawmanning everything?
>fight in arena to human's delight>fighting dogs in a cageYou're delusional. You've been at this across the board for so long now that it can't be a long-term bait. You're genuinely this retarded
I know this may come across as an alien concept to someone as sedate as you, but people actually enjoy sports. Especially sports that involve combat. But the largest inhibitor for combative sports in our world is the idea of permanent injury and even death. If it weren't for that, if we could fight eachother with sword and fireball without potentially maiming or killing eachother, you bet your ass fighting would be the most popular sport in the world. Hell, the most popular sports around still feature high risk of injury, yet people still take part in them despite the risks, simply because of how thrilling it is.
Now imagine an entire society built around this sport. Imagine you had potential to be one of the strongest warriors or most skilled mages in the world. And all you had to do was apprentice under a dojo master or learn under an old wizard.
You'd probably stay at home and weave baskets all day because no matter the world you're in, you'll be a lazy fatass who probably molests animals.
