>>53686929To say the next stretch of Percy's journey was "unlucky" would be a gross understatement.
Or, depending on your perspective, a gross overestimation of the grunt's attachment to his monsters.
The road to Eterna was paved with nothing but the blood of the bad guy's allies. Maus was lost to a child's Sunflora (a mistake so suspicious that even Percy's own Zubat questioned its tragedy), Leonid fell to an irritated wild Cradily's Acid, Bogglin fell to a Pupitar and Pinkie went poof right at the city's borders. Nickie and Mince soon followed suite.
That was an ENTIRE TEAM'S worth of Pokémon dead. All of their blood was on Percival's hands. And yet...
...the boy only seemed a little phased.
He hardly flinched at the first few deaths.
Then, he began to cry somewhat.
But even now, as he stood with less team members than he had urns, the Galactic grunt seemed so insanely focused that he hardly had any time to spare a thought for his fallen friends.
After meeting up with Mars at the Valley Windworks and providing her with secret instructions for Cyrus' plans, he'd swept through Eterna Forest to make his way to the Eternal City. One of many with Galactic's sacred headquarters headed there.
He, of course, had business here. Specimens to deliver to commander Jupiter- an Onix, a Weedle, and a Houndour- but there was another goal.
The gym had to come first...

seriously though, why the fuck am I getting so many encounters fit for an evil team grunt? Zubat, Croagunk, Drowzee, Rattata, Houndour. And all of my items have been pretty spook-based too. I appreciate the game trying to keep in-character, but isn't this a bit much?
