Pokemon, (like humans) are all individuals, so I don’t think it would be that unrealistic to assume that there are pokemon out there that get fucked over by genetics or something. I think of Espeon as being a middle of the road psychic type. There is no way this idiot would be something actually canonically powerful like a Meowstic or an Alakazam. The average Espeon can predict the future and read minds, but unfortunately for Avery he is not the average Espeon so he can’t do anything cool. He’s like an overgrown Eevee, which is a roundabout way of me calling him a manchild, which is also true. Maybe after he loses or gets upset he fucks off to the woods to pout and then he ends up dozing off in the sun. Thumps his tail if he’s mad. I’m more than a little fond of the idea of him being a catboy, I could pull his hair, ears, AND his tail!
